Result types

Result types define what kind of data each result has. For example, a result with the type "Leafleting" will contain number of leaflets.

How do I create a new result type?

To create a result type, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your organization page.
  2. On the right, click on Manage results.
  3. In the result type overview, click on Create result type.
  4. Fill out the required fields in the form and click Save.

Each result type can contain one or more data types. A data type is a basic storage such as Leaflets or Signatures. You can add as many data types to your result type as you like.

Remember to select which groups the result type should be available for. If you select no groups, no events can have a result of that type.

How do I edit a result type?

  1. First go to the organization page.
  2. Click on Manage results.
  3. Click on Edit for the result type you want to edit.
  4. Edit your result type and click on Save when you are done.

If you want to add or remove a group to the result type, you can also edit the group page and add it there.

How do I delete a result type?

To permanently delete a result type, navigate to the result type overview and select "Delete".

Note that you can only delete result types that aren't in use. A result type is in use if an event has a result of that type.

To remove a result type from a specific group, you can edit the result type and deselect 'All groups' or the specific group that shouldn't have access to the result type.

Existing results of that type will be hidden in that group and it will not be possible to add more results of that type.
